Anyone can pilot the ship with the assistance of the AI, as the pilot is mainly there in case the AI breaks or something.

My advanced radar is detecting to a scale of particles, and makes a 3D map. It compares previous time positions to calculate the speed. If such particle is threatening the ship and has a collision time of less than 30 minutes, an minor alert is sent. If collision T is less than 10 minutes an alert is initiated.
