    I also added a mixture of MERC and URAN from the lab to the thermocouple for heat.

    I also build a makeshift fuel tank, fill it with hydrogen, and put in in the cryopod.

    Ok, I put the batteries and thermocouple in avi's old cryopod and build a ion thruster on the back of it.

    The ion engine will need some gases (HYGN from the fuel tank, which is hidden, will work) and electricity to create thrust.

    You could use the BREL and other supplies scavenged from the ship to make a small ion engine (with Spud's help, but he doesn't need to be online for him to do it. I'll just pretend he's helping you, or maybe control his character myself? IDK, tell me what you think) to propel a cryopod to a nearby station. The batteries and thermocouple would be useful there.

    Only for a few seconds, but I would recommend saving them.
