@boomtish214 Sure! Will do tomorrow. Is that alright? :)

please, people stop the debate about the concorde, let's just appreciate the save; and try not to fill the chat with argument.
-
The only benefit of this plane is that it was fast. That's all. It was noisy, uncomfortable, wasted fuel and the tickets were way to expansive for what the plane offered.
-
Not much difference... Concorde program was bankrupt in 2 years of the crash...
-
Lockheed has a point there... anywho, husky, can you help me out with something...? can you make an A320 for me please? the sooner, the better... you'll see why...

For the equivalent route (LHR-JFK) of the Concorde, it's ~5'000$ one-way. A first class ticket on the same route, is ~4'700$ round-trip. The reason I used the exact route is because the demand and supply is different, depending on the day. Not to mention ground costs.

How much is a ticket nowadays in first calss again lockheed? Say PER to KLAX? (Can you crack my code? Hint: CONTROL TOWER)
-
The tickets were a little over 5'000$ one-way. That was back in the 1990s, about as comparable to a flight of over 6-7 hours in first class, round-trip.

@MEOWS: I think that a lot of factors were inolved in this: The Concorde tickets were very expensive and the ticket sale was quite low compared with other planes. The ticket sale decreased even more with the crash (even if the plane was quite reliable). And the fuel efficiency was really awful.
