For anyone that is curious and doesn't like links, there are 7 slide positions and most to all notes are playable with those 7 positions, and some between positions. I don't know the lowest or highest playable note, but I have seen notes being played 5 octaves higher than concert F on a trombone (this was by a professional.) I'd likr you to make a baritone, or maybe a Tuba (not a sousaphone.)
