    Sparking PSCN survived well over 200 pulses. This is pretty weak compared to that stuff.

    Just quartz survived 28 pulses with a peak temp of 5000c. I may have gotten lucky, but... Still...

    Haha, added a block of NSCN and it melted after 14 pulses. You should up the temperature of the beam. ;-) Interesting idea, though.
