@lastman, the tsar bomb was called it because it was the largest bomb ever made (50 megatons), and it was made by the russians, so they probably would call it the 'king bomb' (or however you would translate it).
cool, but is it realy a nuke?
VAULT 101... FALLOUT REFERENCE!!! "war, war never changes"
forever we will follow the light, though we burn in nuclear fire.
@sentinal-5 So where are you in the group of "People with who scored less than 20 on an IQ test" Remember if you say your not in it you look like a pompous asshat ;P
It all starts with an explosion that creates a Pyrocumulus Cloud. This ball of burning hot gases is accelerated outwardly in all directions. Since the burning ball of accelerated gases is hotter, and therefore less dense, than the surrounding air, it will begin to rise- in the case of nuclear explosions, extremely rapidly. This ultimately forms the mushroom cap. How a mushroom cloud works in a nuke. Ryan_cotter, you are on the right tracks of the mushroom cloud but wrong.
funny, tsar bomb being king of bombs, when the russian word CZAR means ruler or king.
bottom right.....vault101
