Another brain sim, this time with a (prototype) flee instinct module. The 'brain' controls the small rat robot, which will randomly code and execute wall reaction- and a one step independent protocol, but it flees to a corner if it sees the cat robot.

New RatBOT here: id:2114598

I'll hopefully finish the 2.0 Ratbot in a few hours. It will contain: -More compact layout -Hard coded overrides in panic mode -Direction-dependent panic modes
-
Upgraded Cat Bot to Mk II.

The cat uses positive gravity to avoid walls, which is not 100% safe, because it will ocasionally lead it into the wall (especially if stuck between two walls, or a wall and the rat). It probably went through the proofreader which regulates the order in which the pistons receive their signals (2). Then it probably sent two opposite direction signals simultaneously. :D

Cat go through the circuit. Then rat split in half. Why this happened?
-
i can show you some designs for that if you're interested

im creating a bot that avoids walls its going good so far too
-
uhh, the decision gate uses it. it saves a yes or no answer by freezing a px of merc in shld. the gbomb destroys the shld, so the merc can move again
-
I'm so confused, what does the Gbomb do?
