Serious Disasters Part-8 by HapyMetal
This one is about the Nedelin Rocket Explosion, happened on Oct.24th.1960. in the USSR. Safety procedures where ignored as they rushed to launch in time, so that a short circuit was able to blow the rocket up in a fireball.

This is really cool and all, but even though i'm not offended, someone might start getting angry for the fact that the USS Thresher has a "In memory of all lives", etc, while this one doesn't. Otherwhise, +1! -

HapyMetal 2nd May 2017Indeed doc. And it was such an idiotic mistake. They started to replace electrical parts without removing the fuels from the rocket. Everyone knows that tons highliy combustable rocket-fuel an electric currents are a bad mixture.
