Batumkh Gompa is the Anti-Tractionists holy city, built mostly up the back of the great shield-wall, nestled in amongst the thawed himalayan mountains, a curious mix of religion and millitary firepower, it protects the last green place on planet earth.

@docRoboRobert thanks :D @dyaomaster eugh i hate the SHLD element. yeah it's useful in saves like reactors or things designed to resist nuclear blasts, but this is more of a sandbox save than a functional one. the only weapons available to 90% of traction cities are conventional explosives, artillery projectiles, rockets, and their jaws. the idea is that none of them make it close enough to the wall to start chewing it.
-
@kingslak it's incredibly difficult. that's why the shield wall is notorious the world over for its extraordinary concentration of millitary firepower (couldn't really show it here that well because i wanted to get across that it's more peaceful and natural than a traction city)
-
I would advise shielding the shield-wall with actual SHLD. Otherwise, if one of those traction cities uses even a single basic ARAY gun... all the citizens were just charbroiled to death. (oh, and install some INSL under the turret things)

Nice! 1+

this is so cool. trying to protect the city from the traction cities must be diffecult lol

i'm probably going to make a version with a version of london remade to match this scale, with medusa "firing" on top. but first i'm going to finish making the second part of Batumkh Gompa and a close-up of st-pauls with M.E.D.U.S.A inside, so people who haven't read the books know exactly what's going on.
-
Someone needs to add London trying to fire MEDUSA

*attack on Titan theme starts playing* good save sentinal-5, it is very good and detailed +1

this idea came about more than a decade before anyone was even worried about trump becoming president. plus, in the books this wall is 4000ft tall, armoured with the deckplates of the cities it's destroyed, and has vast airship hangars and artillery batteries lining its crest.

huh, i am the first. maybe people are coming to their senses these days. or that the noobs just haven't seen this yet. But i'm going for door number two.
