    @Anastasia_616: Yeah, and that is one thing that's so grotesk about it, our 'civilized world' needs locks, security, alarm systems, while this natives have no problem sleeping in open huts

    To be a little political: i think the largest problem on earth is money. That's the problem i have with capitalism is, that unlimited grow is impossible on a planet with limited recources and many people are driven of gaining the largest part of it.

    I do agree that we aren't likely to destroy the planet, just ourselves. Truth be told, even catastrophic global warming is something the Earth will likely recover from, but only once we've wiped ourselves out.
