    1: This will take a long time because there is no black hole so close to earth. 2: If you are 1 m the wrong way it can land different and you have to wait very long to see it.

    This would technically work, light from the Earth is being sent out in all directions. All you need to do is to look REALLY precisely at a spot on a black hole light years away, figure out how to tell the difference between photons from Earth, and photons from every other source, then look for a long enough time for computers to reconstruct an extremely low resolution image of the Earth.
