    From the FAQ page: "Art is allowed, but we don't like art on the front page. TPT isn't a game about art, so only saves which actually _do_ something will stay on FP.". I have nothing against art, but I think it should be posted in a place that makes more sense. If I wanted to see art, I wouldn't be looking for it in a physics simulation game.

    Your masterpieces can find a place where it belongs. A two pixel battery or some other terrible save will get downvoted off FP. I just don't understand why you had to make your art HERE. Couldn't you simply put it up on Devianart or another community to be admired?

    to see quality art instead of a single battery and a single piece of metal. A 29 hour masterpiece vs 2 pixels, one gets fp for doing something, one gets tucked away in a corner of tpt, forgotten. I had an account years ago I made a masterpiece on. I deleted it after getting -21 votes since my art got on fp, and fp was bugged at the time so everything stayed on it.

    @12Me21 I was not aware of this. The front page is not meant for things that DO something, it is meant to give saves that had effort, time and thought put into them the recognition they deserve. Define a save that DOES something. An art save can be visually appealing, meaning the saves is doing something for the user. On the other hand, I prefer

    I agree with this. PowderToy is a community where we make saves that actually DO things. We innovate. I do not understand why people enjoy making art here (BCOL, GLAS, CLST, deco, why?). Deviantart exists for that. So, when an art save takes over an FP slot, it might be wonderful, but it blocks out other saves that are interesting, original, and actually DO things.

    I don't think I've ever seen any arguments for allowing art on the front page beyond "you're a loser".

    I'm not sure why so many people are so passionate about art on the fp. It's just a waste of slots that could be filled with saves that actually DO something.
