something else that works for heating is warp with a high tmp2 value, toobad it's life dependant, unless you mix a few pixels of filt or something with it. can be naturally obtained by taking exotic matter and bombarding it with electrons. -

I wouldn't personally suggest dropping LIFE for a heating element, but densely-packed CONV tricks are neat ya -
