This is the abandoned Energia launch vehicle with the Buran spaceplane attached. Produced by the Soviet Union in 1984, it was designed to surpass the NASA Space Shuttle, they thought it was a military weapon. The Buran program lasted from 1974 to 1993.

@Morgoth I think I'll keep the save as it is for now.
-
@Morgoth Hm, I dunno. You see, I want the RDS (right docking structure) to move between the 2 segmented beams and then stop, but I don't think you can stop moving prot IIRC. Also, I have the whole rocket in my stamps, so yeah ;)
-
Here I am, @space_powder, about the "right docking structure" you have to copy the prot version only and put on the right of the 'Two Towers', then with vx=-1 it will just slide in the right place (use F to be perfectly accurate). If you do that you will also be able to design the whole rocket.
-
@space_powder It is fine. IK people sometimes overreact. It is unpublished now, so no need to worry anymore. Sorry for copying tho. Good day :)

@Adriano I'd like to apologise to you for my rude behavior in the comment section of my edited save you posted and then unpublished tbh, I overreacted a bit there

I like it :D +1

So sad that it got destroyed, much like the other great innovations from the period. The Bartini-Beriev VVA-14 was abandoned, the Lun-Class Ekranoplan is rotting... Blame the soviet regime, but the US also played a role in shaping the (mainly) Russian tech.

Wow. Wow. Two of the most amazing things reunited in a single save: Buran and Baikonur. Energia manufactured the Soyuz, too. A shame we don't have the Cyrillic alphabet in TPT.

the 3th strongest rocket

ITS JUST AWESOME!!! (1+)
