    @heyimwasp: 8700k has the same number cores/threads as 7800x, overclocks to 5gh, while using less power than a 7800x. Powdertoy only uses 1 core, and the 8700k currently has the highest per core performance, so it would win. sorry for the long comment

    I7 8700 Sucks, my CPU (I7 7800X) runs at 4,2Ghz (Overclocked) It is able to run more threads than that stupid 8700.....Still lagg though XD 19FPS

    I love when people say 'My fps is fine' on stuff like this. Like, you unpaused it right? It doesn't matter if you have a over clocked i7 8700, you WILL lag.
