    To be fair, we have no way of verifying that. Anyone could go up to our bunker and claim to be from Mars, and we still couldn't know if they are telling the truth (aside from the obvious).

    A multispectral radiation pulse could take it out. Something in the EM band to fry the electronics and a high-energy IR burst to seal the hatches. Empty metal can! Would be dangerous though.
