@TPTbomb If you need help with something specifically, you can show me a save and I'd be happy to help you with it. If you can get solid SPRK to work but not permanent BRAY, you might want to continue to the next lesson where we cover that.
-
Yeah I've tried the debug tool, reordering the particles with the local save thing, and placing the particles in update order when I'm making subframe but it will not activate electronics at all, I'm not sure whats going on. I've also tried layering some stuff and it makes the constant SPRK work but otherwise nothing happens.
-
I'm bored that's why I tried EMP lol
-
@NACEOD So EMP's update function works differently from other elements. It updates between frames, so you want the adjacent SPRK to be of life 3 when the frame ends. You can achieve this with DRAY, but I suggest not trying to use EMP in subframe until you've had a better mastery of subframe fundamentals. Besides, there isn't much point to subframe EMP since it would destroy any existing subframe circuitry when it first activates.
-
@NACEOD What makes you think that the DRAY isn't getting activated? It looks like it's working to me. I'll get back to you on the EMP.

ID:2358027. I notice the SPRK won't activate the DRAY or EMP.. Whats next?
-
aaahh I see

@NACEOD As explained in lesson 1, you need the CONV to come before the BTRY. In your device, you put the BTRY above the CONV, which means that the game will assign a smaller ID to BTRY than to the CONV.

@NACEOD If activity #2.2 works for you, then you're doing particle order reloading correctly. If you have a device that you think the game assigns IDs differently from subframe order, you could show it to me (and also explain what you observe and what you expected to see instead).
