    what I don't understand is how is it programmed to shift Ctype in the same pattern, wouldn't it just copy the first?

    @NACEOD DTEC transfers the ctype of a nearby BRAY to adjacent FILTs. To understand how this works more precisely, you can check out lesson 111 (search for "sl111") .

    here's what I don't get- how does he get the Ctype of the filt to change?

    @NACEOD It's great that you're finding this useful! If you're looking at the recent Sierpinski saves, you might find Im_ygy's version (id:2326119) easiest to understand.

    @Creeperalex2006 Glad it helped! You can certainly do a lot smaller than the answer in the first activity, especially if you already know the conv-tmp trick (in the second activity) and stacking (the next lesson).

    for the first thing, i made the subframe thing a lot smaller than the answer. an upside down solid sprk setup with aray at the end.
