You still aren't understanding... It's not truly random, it can't be. But the interactions between all the individual cells in my network increase the quality (entropy) of the pseudo-random output

I'm not talking about mass. Your miniature version depended on one clne producing phot. Since that CLNE is not acutally random, your network is not either. You need many working together, like the neurons of a brain. If not it isn't a network, or neural lol. Because you have neither a network, or neurons
That means if something is very very heavy it doesnt have to be big
well buutttt size is not equal mass
Having a larger area increases the number of factors involved. Which matters since TPT isn't truly random.
Making it smaller reduces the entropy of the system, which would not be an improvement
