Crossflow Engine Prototype (Overhead Cam, EFI Gas/Petrol Type). Inspired by Mitsubishi 4G54 engine design. On startup, engine cranks to generate vacuum before combustion begins. Pre-ignites when run on DESL causing undesired operation.

    Since this one isn't getting as much attention at the 6-cylinder, I made it easier to use. No need to add fuel before starting anymore - it's already done. Just spark ON and let it run.

    This engine is a little less forgiving than the 6-cylinder version I made. I'd eventually like to find out how to stop it from occasionally backfiring and destroying itself, but it'll take some time.

    it blew up with hydrogen, even with ambient heat on

    REV A2 - Revised ECU, slightly longer intake valve duration. Adjusted temp sensor to compensate for increased heat in cylinder walls throwing a premature overheat alert.

    May have to make some adjustments to the control unit, I think.
