Finally, @TNP99999, the first precise radar with both direction and ranging. @Public, This is a showcase of how a radar can be made. Works best in space but I want to shows you its downsides.

    hmm glas and watr can also be used to cheat this. First change phot color, second slow them and change position and shape in display.

    Hm... dunno how it works internally, but if here are a few ideas: add a collimator (basically a raster to only absorb straight flying phot) to make it more specific. also, slightly decrease the scan speed, so it can achieve higher precision. dunno if that is possible, but here ya go.

    You can also actively jam the radar, since the detection mechanism can only take in a limited amount of photon data at a time.

    dont forge that in real life, nothing is perfectly smooth, therefore nothing is a perfect mirror. You can simulate the bumpiness with, bumpiness. Thats why you can see something even if its rotated.
