I don't know if I'm the only one having this odd effect, but the array of lasers seems to "hold" whatever glow there is, even though the lasers themselves dont have very much glow at all. Not sure if its a bug or just me, but publishing this to make sure

All this considered, @PortalPlayer, you are correct.

This save checks out... by reseting fire display, (this is easily done by turning fire display on, then on again) this lingering gradient of light will not remain, unless having restarted the save and redone the process. So this, then, may considered a bug, since, in no obvious way can this be considered an instance which was deliberately made possible by the developers.

its not a bug, the photons hold a slight glow thats just enough to keep the glow around

The glow is a sort of additive process in that in builds upon the previous frame - you can tell because it always lingers behind things and generlly stays around a fair bit. In this case, the "lasers" are dense enough to maintain whatever's there without actually producing anything significant themselves.
