This "camera" is an improvement on the original style of camera I discovered earlier this year. It uses coal as the medium, since the heat of the photons brightens the coal where they once were and maintains the white, similar to the real first cameras!

    Yea, its because ELECs have a lower starting temperature than PHOT. PROT and GRVT work as well if they're given added heat and the GRVT has no tmp, but the photo of them drags through. Take my singularity explosion photo for reference

    Actually, the ELEC element also works, but it creates a much dimmer image than the PHOT element.

    You can also set the ctype of cray to wood for a burnt in photo, though I think it wood be limited by how many photons hit it before it actually catches fire
