    generally speaking, why not :P ; that being said, many of these systems do scale favorably- armor, power and weapon systems are all comparatively more effective in a larger ship

    why would anyone need a 2 km spaceship? if it where a o'neill cylinder it would make sense. but a spaceship? that's just really overkill. but, this i'd image took a long time to construct. so +1.
