AndrewPoint3 15th Feb 2019So im working on a 4 bit adder. im also working on a decimal to binary converter. Im not going to use free to copy designs when im making this computer. I feel like its valuable experience to build every part myself.

AndrewPoint3 15th Feb 2019@Benjamin the 3rd and bottommost input is the carry in, i believe it is used for linking the adders together to make a ripple adder.

expunged 15th Feb 2019The most fundemental adder is a half adder, when I was talking about the most basic full adder I was talking about the most basic full adder, not the most basic adder; this save's adder isn't a full adder at least according to the definition I know.
