    Umm The enemy has been buying time for their infrastructure to be properly situated. Your troops have successfully recaptured your city and port down south, the assault cost the enemy 1000 troops while you lost 100 troops. The enemy nation is suing for peace, they offer to pay 20000 pounds of gold in war indemnities. This will help replenish your treasuries somewhat. Continuing the war will probably end in your victory, but odds are the costs will bleed your economy dry for the next few decades.

The army has been organized into 2 divisions, a vanguard and a rear guard. The rear guard has the baggage train. This army cannot remain in Greopet territory for too long, it is simply too large for your economy to sustain for extended periods of time.
