  The problem with them is that the 5k stacks aren't quite group of troops, it's just the approximate location and amount of them, they don't co-ordinate with eachother usually nor do they group up together

  Order the troops in the East to attack, and when the enemy depositions itself, have the troops in the West attack from behind

  MT, you have about 1 billion in reserves that can be freely spent on anything. You are currently at roman tech levels in military, a bit better even. Your civilian tech level is quite a bit worse due to the lack of proper sanitation, education, medicine, infrastructure and overall quality of buildings.
