    MT, the problem isn't in the lack of taxes, it is the need for having a sufficient amount of backup manpower to fortify the amount of men in the field, otherwise your combat divisions will run out of men to use, or if everyone is recruited you won't have any supply. The number next to your nations name is the total amount of people living in your nation
