Well keep enlarging the logging camp and farms, and begin clearing a path towards the mainland
This fix will be crude, but effective at keeping the ship seaworthy(-ish)
Have the men repair the ship every time it arrives at a port
Another ship was crudely put together with stuff they could get from the forests but it is seaworthy enough to do the trips it has to
Have them chop down trees and build another ship. Have the ships carry food to the mainland
After a bit of struggling to find a suitable landing spot your settlers and ship made it to a bit of forest where they could get a few farms up and running
I send the ships with supplies and settlers to the plains in the South and establish a farming colony
Your construction efforts on making the farms is going well, but the problem is getting enough potatoes from the wild as most of them get either eaten by the wild pigs/desperate sheep, collected by your own people or is already growing on your own peoples farms, trying to forage enough from the wild would be nearly impossible in the time scale you are wanting most likely, same story with the wheat but to a much lesser extent
Alright, I want the wheat and potatoes collected en masse. Use the stored wood to build as many agricultural farms as possible further south in the plains, expand accordingly to accomodate enough land for the crops. Once the farms are built, plant all the collect potatoes and wheat.
