@LBPHacker Fair enough. I've seen a few subframe ROMs and RAMs and ALUs scattered around the game, maybe I'll take a scientific approach to things and test them, break them, put them back together, and take notes on it.
-
nope, i didnt make a manual
-
i might wanna try it, if i gather enough willpower
-
um, did you amke a manual to program it, unnick?

So yes, it's very much up to you to draw the rest of the owl. Minecraft people are a very good example of whose computing tutorials you can use if you want to build computers anywhere :P As for the alienness of subframe, you just need a good HUD and a bit of practice. Schematics and block diagrams may not make perfect sense the first time you look at them either; it's the same with subframe. I highly recommend mark2222's SubframeIDE, if you're in need of a good HUD.

@Tetratrary: I see. The problem here is that none of the subframe tutorials claim to teach you anything about how computers work. mark2222 and I have decided that computing is beyond the scope of subframe, which is why our tutorials are more about subframe techniques and practices than, say, how adders work. This is because everything you find in computing tutorials on the internet applies just the same in TPT as in real life once you know how to make logic gates. (cont)

just spark everything to destroy it

2 instructions per frame XD +1 for the best PC in TPT lmao
-
that's quite the essay

Furthermore, this isn't the problem for TPT computers like the Tesla series, or the Trance95. If someone were given lessons on the structure of a computer and its behavior, it wouldn't be too hard to reverse engineer it but subframe is very alien in the way its built. You can see the flow of information in regular computers just fine, but even when I use the pause and next frame function, I can't tell what the purpose of anything in the electronic is.
