The coast of the plains biome contains enough clay to support housing and minor buildings, but it is not more than 2 meters deep before it hits sand, so expanding the territory would require probably hugging this coastline to keep sustaining buildings appropriately from only clay bricks. -

Riohel 3rd Oct 2019On the bright side, the desert here has abundant edible forms of cacti that the people have already been acustomed to in times of scarcity. The rocky beach offers little to no vegetation, but some ores are visible on the exposed rocks and cliffsides.

The lack of big enough trees in the vicinity keeps their homes and other buildings slightly limited; making building time a bit longer
