I will try to avoid the Jotun as much as possible, unless they want an alliance with me.

we exist but will not be tamed by anyone without a fight to prove your worthy

use one of my biggest dragons to hunt for food

If the Jotunn feast too heartily, starvation could become possible within a hundred years. Let's say that it takes one year of no food to die, but they can eat whoever dies (also if they don't eat they can't reproduce, so cannibalism won't sustain).
-
The humans are pressured heavily, as the Jotunn see them as potentially worthy foes, and immediately seek the thrill of battle any time a human encampment is discovered. Their bodies are eaten when killed, though food is not entirely necessary for Jotunn (maybe a good meal once in a while).
-
The Jotunn have myths passed down from when they came from another land, legends telling of warriors who rode atop the backs of great beasts. The Jotunn King has decided to scour the wastelands for any beast mighty enough to carry them into battle, if such a beast exists (maybe giant mammoths would be cool).

Agriculture will be researched by the high elves. Elvish is a fluid text and the language is highly complex even in its infancy. A written text is also being developed.

The elves have succeeded in creating a language. Head of the operation is a male now know using the elvish language as Nethir Sergit. He has been noted for having a vast and highly creative intellect greater than that of the already high averages. He has been elevated to High King of the small village of elves and has already proposed several new ingenious ideas of how to continue development. One such proposal involves the domestication of plants for increased yields.

Massive expansion has occurred. The island has not yet been completely taken over yet. Some human Tribes have proven more resistant than originally anticipated and despite their limited numbers they are more intelligent than the average Jotunn and your leader in numerous occasions has had to personally lead warhosts in order to coordinate and cull them correctly. But nothing of to much resistance has occurred.

The Jotunn have reached the sea. Without wood, ships are built with ice. They float well but are fragile and melt if taken too far South. Of course, the Jotunn are too aggressive and stupid to not use them. They explore South and East using these "ships."
