    The Jotun could become dangerous if they were guided by a King or something and would be a challenge.

    If you choose what race you want to play as carefully you can become dangerous to other players. The Jotun for example are what I imagine are a dangerous race. I'll assume they are larger, stronger and more resilient than most humanoids. They probably live longer as well. But they may be prone to infighting requiring a strong leader to guide them. I'll also assume they aren't as intelligent as other races.

    You can become a challenge to other players as your own empire. If you control the Empire well enough then you can quickly become dangerous.
