Bigger and tougher than the Platyparian Space Cruiser, the Monotreme Class Battleship features the latest in Platyparian space warfare technology. Time to go push some weaker spacefaring nations around!... As long as they don't destroy the reactor...

sorta a side project, made a new reactor- it's just that it consumes a load of fuel, if you like it I will add fuel tanks, don't know where tho

Thank you @TheNukeCat111! I'm pretty sure your weaponry could penetrate it, but yeah, I think it is nearly immune to most of the "basic" weapons like phot lasers, bray, and even incendiaries. As for the speed, I have no way of testing it, haha!

wow, I have to say this is one of the best armours I have seen in TPT, +1; on the other hand, wouldn't these engines make the battleship a bit slow?

Don't get me wrong, Platyparia still is happy to use gunboat diplomacy and military action against any wayward weaker vassal civilizations in its sphere of influence, but it's not picking any more fights with the big boys. For diplomatic purposes, Platyparia itself is somewhat within the VSGE's sphere of influence.

Upon witnessing the terrifying breakthroughs in arms and armor of your ships and the VSGE, the Platyparian Praetor and the chief governing council have decided that they could not keep up with the high-stakes space warfare arms race, and are shifting to a more defensive policy of consolidating their existing holdings and investing in surface-to-orbit defensive infastructure

Nah. The update was just to put a "no" sign by ambient heat.
