    FieryPowder, your people are using stones to try to cover and extinguish the fire, but the fire is just melting the stones to molten lava. Fire-preventing water is being researched using special sands off the cost of the lake, it's somewhat putting out the fire, but it only works for a few milliseconds.

    Watboi1, airship landing places have been built with warehouses next to them to store supplies. Air routes have been cleared. A large hot air baloon expedition has been launched, with the goal of reaching the crashed meteorite, they will land ever so often to get supplies and reach the meteor. 3 brave poeple have volunteered to get on the hot air balloon.
