Your scientists have a new idea: chaining hot air balloons together to form a kind of caravan, so that not only is the lift shared, but for some reason, it also increases speed (dont ask lmao).     use the steam engine to make conveyor belts which start making a few (1 or 2) factories which dont produce alot but it is still betetr than handmaking
