    @Umm explain... How does one get rid of heat in space by other means than radiating. The H-bomb drive is extremely primitive and not advanced. And yet you haven't answered my previous question eather.

    The shielding (electromagnetic shielding in my opinion kinda) is only to minimize the damage caused by the nuclear detonations of the H-Drive

    The places where the gravity shield is weakest are the ETC-Cannon and the lasers near the H-Bomb Drive
