I'm not an expert at neither of the two, but I have tried using them many times; the experience is way different than here
you can have the latter (and probably even better in many aspects) in other drawing softwares, such as adobe illustrator, photoshop and etc, but it's nowhere near to how tpts tools work
@nereus I can see you haven't used the deco tools much.. some stuff here is a lot different than it is in ms paint, I personally wouldn't be able to create art in ms paint like I do here, mainly because of the lack of tools in paint. Yes, it does have a variety of brushes and stuff (which you can have here as well through scripts) but there are no actual smudge/blur, add/substract type of tools.
@VIP84 There's nothing unique about the deco tools for still art though. It's all the exact same thing you can do in MS Paint. What makes TPT unique is stuff having behaviors. So your question's right: if there are tools to make art that actually is different, that you can interact with or that has animation, then why not do it? Why create the same art that can be made anywhere else, and take up room on the FP from creations unique to TPT?
The moderators used to strongly dislike art, and went through much effort to ensure it was never on front page. Those rules don't exist any more. We still reserve the right to demote saves from front page, but don't do it very often. Demoted two today because there are too many "controversial" saves.
@VIP84 Wasn't there a rule against art but it got removed or am i remembering it wrong? also, why are you going to leave tpt very soon?
Or Yukari Akiyama? Or... Mako Reizei? Or nothing....
Can you make Katyusha from Girls und Panzer ? :D
and at last, there is no specific rule against art
