You coudl try some other colours like white, green or some red like colour that fits the contrass but isn't the same red that is connected to communism.
Can confirm, save is cool. All I'm saying is that there's deeper meaning to it than to your standard issue explosion simulator save, and that may prevent some from properly appreciating it.
@The_Galaxy_Creator I'm not refering to the save but the comments below. Save is cool.
Of course, as the poster of the save, I am responsible for any unfortunate appearances and for the misunderstandings it causes. For that, I am sorry.
This project itself was mostly an attempt to capture a feeling of pride or patriotism to one's nation or to a cause. The figures in the save are wearing standard military formal uniforms and if you view the history of this save, you will notice that the original color of the flag was blue, not red. I only changed it because I thought it looked better against the white background.
I will admit that the style is reminiscent of mid-century propaganda posters, which can be misconstrued as symbols of historically authoritarian regimes such as the Soviet Union or the Third German Reich. However, practically all nations, specifically those included in World War 1 and 2 used the same war propaganda. "Onward! To Victory!" was even a popular phrase used by the British during World War 1, though it is, by itself, a pretty vague statement.
I think posting it with less context gave it a less neutral tone. I wouldn't know what this was about had I not seen the first version.
docRoboRobert...This save isn't glorifying communism. I'm guessing you say this because of the red coloration of the flag. Of course, as I have already said, the color of the flag is irrelevant to the theme of the scene. The theme is, simply, "Victory!"
