    Instead of paper money, we can instead use steam engines to make large grinders to grind plant fibers and weave it into fiber money. Implement steam engine in a lot of things, including automation for armor, tools, and other things, basic boats, and simple carts (just steam engine powered carts that move a lot of stuff). Begin investing in new engines, like the internal combustion engine. Give our navies training excercises around the ocean area near our colony.

    Begin construction of another city. Begin investigating electricity and a means to generate it. Begin making copper wires and creating large underground vaults filled with copper wiring. Once electricity has been developed begin developing a telegram system. Also begin utilising the steam engine to help power industrial processes in our factories.

    Develop a new philosophy that shall be titled the greater good. This philosophy will revolve around the individual striving to ensure their actions positively benefit as many members of our society as possible. People are still allowed to express themselves through religion etc unless it actively and deliberately brings harm to other members of society. Also begin to overhaul our architectural style to maximise both functionality and visual appeal. Make each building a work of art.

    search for potentially useful explosive materials, greatly expand east and build 30 more ships, begin looking into plateing my ships hulls with steel. try to find the most intelligent children in my nation and send them to advanced schools run by the SCIENCE guild. begin to work on "spinny handle" powered, steel tipped drills for use in mining. make the great pit much deeper and search for new ores everywhere also invest a huge amount of resources in the great pits growth.

    begin the creation of basic steel plate armour, initiate trade with the DOTL i will give them monthly shipments of steel and wood and they will give my nation sheep, grapes, and some of their clockwork along with lots of raw mud and clay. begin a large operation to rescue the 30 miners and make them national heroes, put out lots of propaganda arbout their heroism. create a basic type writer and focous alot of my nations resources into the creation of a steam engine.
