  NuttyMcNuttzz, there appears to be a problem with expanding to the island in the middle of the lake, the men who have made it back report the areas surrounding the island to be cold enough to freeze your eyeballs solid in a few minutes, and that it rends wood and metals allike brittle and weak.

  NuttyMcNuttzz, more complex engine parts are being worked on. Limestone has been found in your northern regions, alongside horses. Work on producing gunpowder is ongoing.

  DragonEggLol, a steam engine has been made. Drills are being used to dig deeper shafts, however the complication arises that the drills are quite heavy, and if one drillhead breaks, it's a problem to get out. The northern part of the island you own is being built into a large fort effectively. You can't traverse the ocean, mostly due to the lack of knowledge of sailing long distances. Insurance and paper money are being made, however paper money is not durable.

  Superbantom, it was recently brought to your attention that a group of ~30 miners was trapped in one of the deepest mineshafts due to the ground being relatively unstable. A steam engine is being worked on, aided by the recent procurement of steel. The guilds are being given political power. More guilds are being made.

  train another 1 000 troops. Begin improving military training by having the troops train in the Rockland's to increase their capabilities in that region, and train them to sustain themselves with the least amount of supplies as possible. Begin designing better armor than what we have(light steel plate), and send scouts to scan the areas surrounding my nation(all directions)

  Start making basic defensive structures and military outposts around our nation, specifically concentrated around cities. Clay iron-supported walls, small castles with equipment, basically just strengthen our defenses.

  Begin building factories designed to construct these new steam engines. Begin designing steam trains powered by the engines. Design a new railway system that will span underground areas in the mountains connecting all cities and mines. Build resource depots on the borders between rock lands and swamps so agricultural produce can be gathered and transported to urban areas. When ready build railroads to the depots. Build another city. Design mine carts with steam powered by engines to help mining.

  Begin research into flywheels, pistons and engine cylinders. Begin searching for limestone. Continue the great expansion and improve medical and educational services in the cities. Begin to experiment with gunpowder, and begin working on primitive chemistry. Continue work on designing better ships, with reinforced hulls and double decks.
