  Grow more of those cash crops, and to send a colony from our large colony on that island to the mainland east from here. Implement a basic nationalized insurance system from the government, that covers workplace injuries, healthcare, and more. We still have to make a profit though, so it should require a monthly fee (in crops, money, or other things). Speaking of money, develop paper, and invent paper money.

  Focus development on the steam engine, and begin using more and more water powered drills to dig deeper. Use vetilation caves to drive air into the caves, and we could potentially use an giant fan rotated by water to push air inside/outside. Expand our colony on Soap's island and build large military fortifications, with barracks, multiple walls, and archer towers everywhere. Research efficient machinery (ie more simple machines, grease for machines, clockwork machinery)

  massively reform my nations government, give the guilds all of the political power, with the science guild having the most, each guild will have a ruling commity in charge of that guild, a new member will be elected every 10 years by all members of that guild, with the science guild partially controling all other guilds and controling the rest of my nation, create lots more guilds for every job and every citizen join one of the guilds.

  begin working on a basic steam engine, make the greatest minds in the SCIENCE guild work on the project. expand along the south west coast and send scouts far along the south west coast, begin cutting down forests on the south of my main island, make the great pit deeper, attempt to reduce atmospheric pollution in the great pit and reinforce tunnels with more wooden supports. research better boats and send scouts to search my land for new ores, strange objects and new useful animals.

  Watboi1, the first functional steam engine has been made, with the credits going to a young boy named Stirling. The new steam engine tech is being put to use. Tunnels are being made.

  Superbantom, the great pit is getting more workers assigned to it, however it is not a safe nor hospidable workplace, cave ins are common even with reinfrocements, air pollution is a severe problem and there are reports of miners getting trapped in one of the deepest shafts. Steel is being worked on.
