    construct a large prototype boat using separate planks of wood firmly nailed together using small iron rods and then coated in pitch for its hull and a mast made from a small tree with a simple sail made from pig skin attached to it it will be steered using a set of simple wooden oars launch it to test its designs potential as a long-range exploration vessel

    DragonEggLol, Your mines are beginning to experience oxygen problems resulting in less time being able to be spent further underground. New soldiers are being trained and outfitted. Refinement is being advanced. Catamarans with crabclaw sails are being developed, wich increase the range of your ships greatly (~2x more than a canoe).

    DragonEggLol, better house construction methods are being implemented. New housing is being built to replace the old housing (with your "concrete" supports). Bows and arrows are being researched. Metal alloy searching is underway. Ships are being coated in animal fats which makes them more waterproof. Primitive soap is being made which improves hygene. Improved transport up and down mines is being implemented.

    DragonEggLol, better metallurgy techniques have allowed the creation of more advanced tools. Copper has been found to be very effective as a lightweight armor, altho it might not stop a strike, it could make it non lethal. More mines are being set up, and the search for iron has resulted in some very high quality iron veins being found in the southern regions, altho very sparsely.

    N2H4, a national currency is being made, which will help with trade. Experimentation on the resources is underway. A new suit of armor is being developed, which altho heavy is comfortable and with good insulating properties thanks to the muffalo wool.

    Watboi1, masonry is being looked into. You are pushing your miners deeper and deeper, which has resulted in several cave ins or other problems slowing down progress, including the air becoming unbreathable and miners collapsing, altho you have found a cave with a building of sorts inside it, you seem to be unable to gain access to it currently. More homes are being constructed. Better footwear for traversing the swamps is being made.
