  Work on cartridge fed guns. Research new artillery capable of shooting farther and more accurately. Begin researching designs for counter-balanced oil pump jacks. Begin researching capacitors, oil distillation towers, and core sample drills. Use the core samples to help us determine what is in the ground and where to start drilling. Begin researching more efficient diesel generators and natural gas generators.

Develop gears that have lower friction for more efficient machines and engines. Start to work on developing bigger naval guns packing large amounts of explosives, and design new different classes of naval ships: torpedo carriers, battleships, battlecruisers, fast attack ships, minesweepers, and patrol boats.
