begin to construct a wooden exploration fleet out of strong canoes, send these canoes loaded with colonists and supplies to colonise the island chain/ crater wall to the south and east. create basic irrigation channels for farming and expand my capital, distrubute excess food from farming to my population. create a basic writing system based on carving symbols into stone and create "propoganda slabs" out of stone to encourage loyalty to my nation.
-
superbantom Some fishermen report seeing vast quantities of glistening lights beneath the crater region waters. Usually just before sunrise, during the brightening night hours.
-
superbantom Granite and limestone found on your island chain will prove useful for stone buildings. Your naturally sea-inclined people are easily able to develop considerable expanses of quarries and dockyards. You have an extremely limited wood supply due to the lack of available land on your islands.

Umm Large housing towns are being built mostly near the crop fields to have the workforce ready for operation day to day. Components for milling machines and the steam engine are being researched. Agricultural and Refinery cities are beginning to grow distinct from one another.
-
start to build houses out of stone bricks reinforced with wood, start building quarries and mines in the most resource rich areas, send scouts across my territory to find resouce rich deposites. encourage farming and build another food factory. begin to cut down some of the jungle for farmland and search for consumable crops and fruit. begin the construction of a large port and create "learing houses where the younger generation will be taught by the old and wise.

Powderpropower Crafts and Engineering campaigns help your population focus on something other than the daily grind for food and water. The nature of your landscape is very harsh, and resources are scarce, importation of goods is one of the few ways your civilization acquires proper supplies. Several bridges have to be constructed to get through the swamplands to the north, meanwhile factorial projects will commence after the ports are established.

Start to build standardised housing out of stone or wood until we have developed concrete. Start to work on iron alloys alongside extraction and refining of other metals. Work on the steam engine and start to build basic factories which will all be specialized in producing one thing, and start to set up entire cities focused on production and refining of materials. Continue expansion and burning efforts.
-
Send troops for expansion towards the north for better connectivity with sealines , set up small scale factories for making machines helpful in mining and weaponary. Start organising campaings to motivate inovations withing the community for new ideas and technology.
-
Umm Military organization and standardization are both under development, you have hit the ground running in this category and early military forces may be a tad awkward in functionality and training quality. Layered paper and parchment armor pieces are being utilized for their blunt force and blade absorbtion qualities.

Powderpropower For a proper trade system you will need coastal cities, or ports. An expansion to the ocean is recommended, meanwhile developments for a mountain path out of the wastelands for trade are underway. The wastelands have proven to have many valuable ores and minerals within the cave systems below the sediment. You do not have access or knowledge of steam power.
