InAverage - if you let it run, the left side begins to break down by the plants clogging the pipes which causes the reservoir to overfill breaking the salt container making saltwater which dissolves the metal and breaks the acid container causing small devestation. seems intentional -

+1 for acid holder and salt dynamics, but you should of made the water distilled so the plants dont get overgrown, unless that is the plan. -
