    Minigun is not the same as chaingun. A chaingun is a weapon that uses chain fed ammunition I believe, which makes a minigun a chaingun, unless it is fed by a mechanical magazine (Who in their right mind would do this). So therefore chaingun does not nessecarily mean only minigun. For example, the gun on the AH-64 is a chain gun, but does not have a rotary barrel. If I am wrong about this please let me know.
