A distillation and electrolysis system. Spark the PSCN to start flow; everything starts closed, but it will work with everything open. Reliably separates hydrogen and oxygen from plain water. Cool electrolysis facts inside.

i ran out of sign space but i just wanted to say: industrial-scale liquid oxygen production is done through atmospheric condensation and distillation. this setup is meant purely to demonstrate that water can be split and then separated into its component gases through similar processes, and does not necessarily reflect real-world methods and standards :]

Isn't thanking people for FP disallowed by the rules? As much as I like your design there, I fear it could get the save taken off fp or worse.

(also, moving the valve results in a change in switch orientation which, i mean... i scream. i very much scream)

SilberEmu528229: oh yes, that... yeah, i noticed that myself. it bugs the hell outta me too. the easy solution would just be to move the valve but i figure it's a small enough amount that it's not much of a problem

SentinelDuality: yeah, but its still losing water from the excess pipe when its running for the first time. its a small amount thet is forgotten later, but its still an efficiency loss that doesnt need to occur
