    do worms interact with any other particles or substances? for example, what happens if they're irradiated, exposed to other liquids, exposed to certain gases, and so on

    You could have them as pets in a terrarium or an aquarium and watch them dig through the ground/swimm through the water, divide, eat/drink and poo.
