    Canada_Ball: you do not have any deer apart from very rare sightings in the far south of your nation as they have all migrated south. your small and ever shrinking population are prepairing to migrate south, following the deer to warmer places. you cannot say you get there i will decide when. same with the animals you find there. also since your people have not mapped the region they do not know where they are going, and will just move south in search of livable land.

    you are holding public competitions among architects, engeneers and just general intellectuals to see if any come up with useful designs for improving infrastructure or ship designs. i will update you on their progress. upgraded roads, made from flat paving stones, are being built on old trade roads with skellige and city main roads.

    zinc plates are being attatched to the front and sides of ships to acts as armour, but this as a very expensive and labour intensive process requiring specialist casting of each plate. very few can be attatched to ships due to their weight. also they tend to oxidise and deteriorate after a few months making them less practical.

    Vrigorix: it is near impossible to send messages to your island colony, you will need to send an expedition to check up on them. larger and more robust bronze cogs and tanned leather pulleys have been made for more demanding machines. zinc is being mined in your outer territories, but mining towns have been dissapearing, all their inhabitants vanishing and all buildings ravaged by some great force.

    stop expanding, start making a huge rock wall that covers all the nation. make small holes in the wall where we can poke out spears and have a railing ontop where we put archers. everyone MUST have a basement with a lock.

    Alchemy people work on medicine too. Start working on basic math, and make the king's palace so grand that people all over should come to visit.
